Someone clawed at your back, ripping your t-shirt. Blood dripped from deep cuts on your arm. It felt like a huge cat had clawed at your skin. You began to stand back up when someone jumped out at you. You cried out as your back hit the ground and coughed out small specks of blood. You flipped backwards as more chains shot out from the darkness, one of them managing to grab your other arm and pull you to the ground. You ripped the chain from her hands and smiled. You groaned in frustration and pulled on the chain and Shy fell forwards into the light. Another shot out, wrapping around one of your wrists and causing you to drop your knife. You ducked, the chain barely missing your head. The scraping of metal chains became louder. I tried to settle this peacefully, Y/n, but it seems we'll have to force you to come to your senses. "To the streets where you belong, you dumbass child! Or even better! Back to the underground!" But Levi is mine! Keep your pathetic little self away from him!" You turned around, always making sure she was in front of you. A single street light illuminated the end of the alley. You walked a bit further down the alley and turned another corner. It was quite dark as there were barely any street lights, and the street was no longer visible. "We'll go this way," Shy said, motioning to the alley. You were hesitant, but then finally agreed to help. "Why were you hiding in the shadows? I have to say, that's kinda sketchy." Listen, Y/n, I need your help to complete this favour. "Yeah, I'm actually doing a favour for her right now. "You're one of Amber's friends, aren't you?" The figure stepped forward into the light of a streetlamp. A figure stood in the shadows of an alleyway. The twinkling stars illuminated the velvety sky, and the moon glowing from behind silvery clouds.
You welcomed the cool breeze the night brought with the darkness. You had decided to take a quick walk through the city before going back home, so you were alone. For once in your life, things seemed to be going well. You felt confident in your abilities and walked down the main street of Trost happily. You had passed the aptitude test with ease. You had just finished training with Levi.
